The lecture of Dr. Nico Sommerdijk: Cryo-TEM in the study of biomimetic materials at the RSC Biomaterials Chemistry Group 3rd Annual Meeting in Manchester Januari 15th 2008 was highlighted in Chemistry World of Februari 1st. The Laboratory of the Soft Matter CryoTEM Research Unit was officially opened by the
Rectoris Magnificus of the Eindhoven University of Technology and of the University of
Maastricht by simultaneously opening the column valves of the Titan and showing the first
pictures.
